The Perak Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) is monitoring the surroundings of Pantai Teluk Batik following the sighting of a crocodile in the area on Thursday (Dec 12).  State director Yusoff Shariff said no traps have been set as the department is prioritising observation, and urged visitors the area to be careful. 00:40It was reported that at 2.24pm on Thursday, a patrol team from the Malaysian Civil Defence

00:46Force APM received information, including a video recording of the crocodile near a

00:52jetty in Teluk Rubiah.

00:54The APM conducted surveillance and confirmed the presence of the reptile.
