00:07a massive crocodile out of a river in Malacca, but the operation was no easy feat.

00:13Perhilitan said they took two hours to bring the 400-kilogram crocodile to land from Sungai

00:19Malim in Pulau Gedong, using the traditional baiting method on Wednesday night.

00:24They said the operation, which began at 6pm, concluded only at midnight.

00:29The crocodile, measuring 430 centimetres in length, was the fourth that had been captured

00:35this year at the same location.

00:37Huge crocodiles have become a cause for concern for many residents living along the river

00:42in Pulau Gedong and Klebang in recent months.

00:45The reptiles had attacked animals, including a goat belonging to a resident.
