00:06This is accompanied by the inauguration of the new regional center in Cotabato.

00:16Joshua, at 3 p.m. later this afternoon, the inauguration of PTV Cotabato Regional Center will take place here

00:22inside the DICT Maguindanao Provincial Office Compound

00:26located at Don Acero Street in Rosary Heights 5 in Cotabato City.

00:31Around 11 a.m., PIPOS Television of PTV Network General Manager Toby Nebrida Jr. arrived

00:38and he toured the building and all the rooms here in the center.

00:41He also talked to the technical team.

00:43In March 2022, the construction of this three-story building began

00:48and it was completed last July this year.

00:51It has an area of 256 square meters.

00:54An unveiling of marker, ribbon-cutting, and blessing will be held later by GM Toby.

01:00It is also expected that Mayor Muhammad Ali Bruce Matabalaw

01:06and other officials of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao or BARMM

01:11will come here to witness the inauguration.

01:13The PTV Cotabato Regional Center's goal is to provide services and opportunities

01:18for the residents of Bangsamoro so that the public can always be updated on the developments here in BARMM

01:24and so that the residents of Bangsamoro can hear their voices.

01:30It is expected that the PTV Cotabato Regional Center will reach the entire Maguindanao,

01:34some parts of Lanao, some parts of Sultan Kudarat, and some parts of North Cotabato Province.

01:40It will also reach the island provinces like Basilan, Tawi-Tawi, Lanao del Sur, and Lanao del Norte.

01:47This project is part of the PTV's plan to be recognized not only as a broadcast station

01:53but also as a premier media partner of various government agencies,

01:58including BARMM, in all media platforms, as well as in the process of content production.

02:05This is a commitment of PTV for the inclusivity and continuous development of the country.

02:11Joshua, this is just the beginning.

02:13PTV will open many more regional centers next week in Legazpi City,

02:21and it will continue in Ilocos Norte and Marawi City.
