00:00Now, Doc, there was one game that stood out amongst the rest when you go to Sixscore.com

00:11and I talked on Thursday about the most banged up unit of the week was that Detroit defense.

00:16But as a team, I mean, it might as well have been the opening game of their season compared

00:21to that San Francisco 49ers overall grade.

00:25What stood out to you for the crew at Sixscore.com when you matched up the Bears compared to

00:29the Niners?

00:30Yeah, but going back to the Thursday game, we loved Green Bay there with the three and

00:36a half and the hook and obviously that cover.

00:39Look, Dan Campbell's crazy like a fox.

00:42People think he's just nuts to go for it on those fourth downs, on the fourth and goal,

00:47etc.

00:48But he was doing it because he knew his defense was banged up.

00:52That's why he went for it late in the game.

00:54That's why he went for it on the fourth and goals and it paid off for him there.

00:59In San Francisco, we've been saying here on SportsGrid for weeks that their defense is

01:03incredibly banged up and you've seen their demise in the last few weeks and that continues

01:09to be the case this week versus the Bears.

01:13And is there any projections for you guys, Doc, on McCaffrey specifically?

01:18I know you always warn us against the, you know, sky is falling stuff, but man, it has

01:24been a tough run at it this season for CMC.

01:29When we're talking about McCaffrey next year, are we likely to project a normal Christian

01:35McCaffrey, if you will?

01:37Look, I do not believe that Christian McCaffrey is injury prone.

01:42Look, that fall, I mean, game of inches, shoestring tackle, that was almost a touchdown and he

01:48fell on his right knee and suffered the PCL.

01:51Any player in the NFL would have a PCL injury from that.

01:55I do not think he's injury prone.

01:57He's had a good couple of years, bad this year.

01:59In Carolina, he had a lot of injuries.

02:02I expect him to rebound and let's break some news here.

02:05Dallas Goddard, it hasn't been announced yet, has a left knee PCL.

02:10That's why he went on injured reserve for the Eagles.

02:13His season is not over because the Eagles are going somewhere.

02:18If CMC has a similar injury, his season is essentially over because the 49ers by week

02:2518 are not relevant.

02:27They're not making the playoffs, but the Eagles will get Dallas Goddard back.

02:32Dallas Goddard is not injury prone, neither is CMC.

02:35They both have PCL injuries.
