00:00Nearly 8,000 police officers from the National Capital Police Office region, or NCRPO, have been deployed across Metro Manila to ensure safety during the holiday season.

00:10They are stationed in key areas like churches, malls, and transport hubs.

00:14The NCRPO Acting Chief Brigadier General Anthony Aberin emphasized the importance of a safe and peaceful holiday season.

00:21In recent operations, the NCRPO seized over 3 kilos of shabu and marijuana, arrested 71 people, and confiscated 33,765 pesos in illegal gambling raids.

00:33They also conducted 16 operations against loose firearms, leading to 17 arrests and the seizure of 17 guns.
