Dubai to host first ever Miss Universe UAE in November

00:12in terms of bringing Miss Universe UAE and changing some of its policies

00:19to fit our cultures and our beliefs and our values and it is quite significantly

00:26service to community, to people, to humanity. We're looking beyond the sculpture of who you are.

00:34It is everything about you and that surrounds you, represents you and so we will not have swimwear

00:41at all in the category for Miss Universe UAE. We're replacing it with a stylized activewear

00:49like couturish activewear. We're trying to make this a competition to be different. It's not so

00:57pageantry, maybe a mix of pageant and very fashion forward. We're actually open to 18 to 20 years old

01:06with valid MSID and valid passport so it's open for residents and the citizens both. They need

01:13to be passionate, they need to be confident, they need to be beautiful inside and out but of course

01:18beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we are not subjective. We're actually looking

01:25for someone who has the purpose, who has the heart to serve.
