00:08you're doing such a great job at being a mother a single mother etc in Dubai

00:13you reinvented yourself as an entrepreneur what do you think the city

00:17brings I mean is it a city that allows you to reinvent itself Sushmita oh

00:21absolutely oh absolutely Dubai I first came here when my mum decided to move

00:28here and at that time I think the World Trade Center was the biggest landmark

00:33building of Dubai and then I saw in the years to come what they called the

00:40Middle East Dubai Manhattan and then from that Manhattan it became the original

00:48Dubai downtown that's true I mean I have seen water turn into land and have

00:55man-made islands come up before me the food the art the culture the coming

01:01together of nationalities you look at Dubai and you realize that you don't have

01:07to look at an outcome basis the origin it's what you're capable of building so

01:13that's my life as well that's how I see it connected I see it as something that

01:18you evolve into rather than everyone telling you hey cannot be done right and

01:24then you say good now I have something to do right you know and and I think Dubai

01:28has the same mindset I love that I know that she has a jewelry store of course here

01:32you're an entrepreneur you're an actress as well yeah she goes to Mumbai quite a

01:35bit Aria is a brilliant series guys please watch it if you haven't oh no and it's

01:39also better than Breaking Bad if you ever come out with a new season I am going to

01:47have like a sleepless night going to binge watch it you're so good in it and we

01:50need more or such series don't you think so just spearheading a series at let's

01:56say 50 which you proudly oh yes is that a big deal when ageism is a thing in

02:00Bollywood agent ageism has always been a thing not just in Indian film industry in

02:07Hollywood as well it's always been there when it comes to women OTT is changing that

02:13somehow I feel like it's giving you more of a character driven opportunity rather than

02:19what's your collection on Friday Saturday Sunday at the box office oh can we buy or

02:24sell this because it's being spearheaded by a woman what I love about Aria is more

02:29than just me playing it it's that today you can look at an iconic character like that

02:35and say women are being represented in their mightiest glory the idea that at

02:41one point if you said listen we're gonna write a script about a woman playing a

02:46Michael Corleone from Godfather they would say how are we gonna do that I mean

02:52who's gonna fund that exactly Ram Madhwani walks up and says it has to be a

02:57woman and it has to be she playing the Michael Corleone and you're like yeah where

03:02do I sign because this is what I've been waiting for not just as an actor but as

03:06a woman to see a woman being represented like that you are a woman of several

03:12talents I almost feel like blender without a lid watching you need to tell

03:20me like how would we identify you what do you want your legacy to be perhaps just as

03:25as I think you're an incredible Dubai success story I think so you came to a

03:29new place you still made your mark people know you here it is incredible

03:33well Dubai by God's grace also is half the population is us okay so let's be

03:40fair there between Indians Pakistanis Bangladeshis Nepalese I mean we're all

03:47here so we already had that advantage but having said which the Middle East has

03:53always made me feel like this is also my home especially because my mother lives

03:58here then she came up with Rene Jwellers and she and her partner needed uncle

04:02have made such a huge success not just here but in all GCC countries so for me

04:08this is home now and I just want Dubai to grow and reach its fullest potential and I

04:14have a feeling that Dubai is never going to reach it it's always going to keep

04:18evolving thank you thank you I love you too
