00:00The Patriots were one of the worst teams in 2023, they were made one of the worst teams in 2024.

00:06So all the teams that sucked last year and were at the top of the draft and were bad teams must

00:09all be terrible again, right? Turns out no. Jones, the NFL prides itself on parity, worse to first,

00:14things like that. Teams, you know, miss the playoffs by several games can be in the playoffs

00:19the next year. Teams that are in the Super Bowl can miss the playoffs the next year. So if you

00:23look at the five worst teams from last year, there were only five teams in the NFL that had

00:27five or fewer wins a year ago. So in reverse order, at five and 12 was the LA Chargers.

00:35The LA Chargers were five and 12. They fired their coach, they brought in a new coach,

00:40and they are already... Eight and five? Eight and five. Eight and five. They're eight and,

00:45no, eight and four. Excuse me. Eight and four, strike that from the record. Eight and four.

00:50They have already, with still a month to go, won three more games than a year ago. They're

00:54trending towards being a playoff. So one of the five worst teams in the league. The team drafting

00:59right after you. Yep. They moved on from... I'm sorry, that's not true. A few spots after you.

01:02And they even moved on from Keenan Allen. They moved on from Austin Echler, two of their better

01:06players. I know they're older. They drafted a rookie receiver in the second round. Looks pretty

01:11good. Yeah. And then they got a new coach. They traded with the Patriots to get that guy. Yep.

01:15So they will be in the playoffs. Okay. The Arizona Cardinals were four and 13 last year.

01:23They're now six and six. Oh, so they've already won two more games. Already won two more games

01:28and have a coin flip chance of winning their division. I know it's not a great division,

01:32but they have a chance of being a playoff team. Right now they're tied for the lead in their

01:35division. Could be a playoff team. Could also make it potentially as a wildcard. So Chargers are

01:38going to be in the playoffs. The Cardinals could be in the playoffs. Sure. Another one of the worst

01:42teams last year was the Washington Commanders. They went four and 13. They are currently eight

01:48and five. They drafted right in front of you, took a quarterback, started him day one. They

01:53also got a new coach and they are eight and five and I think will be a playoff team. Probably

01:58a wildcard team, but they'll be a playoff team. And then the other one outside of you was the

02:02Carolina Panthers. They were two and 15 a year ago. They made a head coaching change. They're

02:09three and nine and some would call them frisky.
