00:00The plan of the Anti-Red Tape Authority, or ARTA, is to implement the use of artificial intelligence, or AI, in their job.
00:09In the ARTA 2024 Year-End Media Conference, ARTA said that with the help of AI,
00:15the process of complaints can be speeded up and it will be available 24x7.
00:20In this way, the response to concerns or complaints of the people of the country
00:25to the government agencies that need change.
00:29Meanwhile, ARTA also referred to the 10 government agencies that were the first to receive the most complaints.
00:38These include the Land Registration Authority, Social Security System, Food and Drug Administration,
00:45Bureau of Internal Revenue, Philippine Statistics Authority, and others.
00:49But ARTA clarified that it does not mean that the top 10 most complaint agencies have a lot of problems.
00:57Instead, these are the complaints that passed through ARTA.
01:01We only consider the ARTA-related complaints.
01:05Meaning, what we only implement is the cover of our jurisdiction.
01:10So, which is the non-compliance with the Citizens Charter, inaction, delay, notice of disapproval, nothing like that.
01:19So, there could be other complaints among citizens that we did not cover.
01:25With the use of artificial intelligence, we will be able to entertain complaints, receive them 24x7.
01:33And as many calls as possible can be received all at the same time.
01:40In Germany, for instance, they have used artificial intelligence and they are able to receive as many as 300 calls simultaneously at the same time.
02:01And this can be responded to immediately.
02:04And even the responses are properly monitored or tracked to ensure that no call is left behind.
02:13Meaning that every call will be considered important.
