‘It’s really not the same’: is X worse than twitter?

We’re asking people in Cardiff whether they think X (formerly twitter) has lost its appeal since Elon Musk took over.

00:00Yeah I'm not really a fan. It used to be good when it was Twitter but I feel like it's just not the same now it's X.

00:05It just feels like a completely different app. Yeah I probably wouldn't post on there or anything like that.

00:11But to be honest with you I upload and refresh the page constantly and nothing comes through. It used to be better I feel.

00:18I'm not a big fan of it now to be honest. I still have it. I'll still go on it every now and then but I don't like it.

00:25I'm really for Twitter, when it was Twitter.

00:29What are the problems?

00:30I don't know it's just I feel like everything's the same on there if you know what I mean.

00:34It all sticks to one thing. Like it's not a rotation of anything.

00:40A bit jealous. He obviously comes from a privileged background. I don't know it's quite dangerous sometimes.

00:45People obviously he's got a lot of opinions and with him owning X now he can sort of use that to force his own opinions.

00:53And I won't put it past him really to sort of silence people who perhaps disagree with him so it could be quite dangerous.
