00:05Jacob jumps out of the car,

00:07runs next to the truck in front of us,

00:09and I instantly am like, what is he doing?

00:11Then I realized that there was a cat underneath the car.

00:17Come here, kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty.

00:22All right, hi.

00:25Hi, baby.

00:26Okay.

00:28I promise you're gonna be fine.

00:32I don't like cats, by the way.

00:34I just like this one.

00:35Yeah, it looks like you really hate cats.

00:38Jacob ended up taking the kitty home.

00:41We have a senior dog.

00:43We also have a bunny.

00:44We really were just gonna try to heal her,

00:46get her around humans so someone would adopt her.

00:50How is that, daddy?

00:53Traumatizing.

00:54Jacob's the smallest, stern, strict parrot.

00:56I don't think he ever had an animal in his home growing up.

01:04I know, we do really wish that we could keep her.

01:07My daughter, of course, took over.

01:08She's the older one, and she's like,

01:09okay, you are my world, I am your mom.

01:12She's just obsessed with the cat,

01:14sleeping with her every night.

01:20My son came to me when I got home from work

01:21and was like, okay, so it's my turn, right?

01:24My daughter was gone for three days.

01:26She was in our bed that night, and I fell in love with her.

01:31The begging started for us to keep her.

01:34Can we please keep her?

01:35I don't know, you gotta ask mom.

01:46And then we decided to keep her.
