00:06you're now 12 points ahead of them so you must be really pleased with that.

00:09Yeah, it's a big game in terms of keeping them at arm's bay and we've played them twice

00:15now and come out with 6 points so we're all happy.

00:19Double over them really isn't it as I say already so that's a real good one to tick

00:22off that.

00:23Yeah definitely, get it done early in the season as well and it sets a good marker out

00:27and it's a good enjoyable game today.

00:31Real competitive, good quality game that wasn't it, a proper game as well.

00:34Yeah it was, I think the referee played his part in that, he let a lot go which I think

00:41both teams were slightly aggrieved of but you look back and it made it a good game.

00:47Some meaty challenges but he was consistent in letting the game flow wasn't he?

00:50He was yeah, we sort of complained a few and the other way round he let go as well so I

00:57think overall I thought he contributed a real good game.

01:01It started pretty well, had plenty of pressure and then they obviously scored from the set

01:05play, good header, I mean at half time what was the message because you had some good

01:11pressure in that first half.

01:13Yeah I thought we were really in control of it, I thought we had some real good opportunities

01:17out wide and getting the ball across the box, we just didn't follow it up well enough and

01:23it was a bit of a sucker punch, we just had to dust ourselves down, we were the better

01:30side and we just said at half time we've just got to stay composed, make the options a little

01:37bit simpler in the final thirds of what we're going to do and then just make sure we stay

01:42in control of the situation and we don't get flustered with what goes on around us and

01:46I thought second half, I thought the boys were excellent at doing that and I thought

01:50we knew we were going to win the game.

01:52Yeah I mean their goal was the first corner, Hugo hadn't had anything to do all half really,

01:57you'd had plenty of good opportunities and you did stay composed really well in that

02:01second half didn't you and sort of stepped it up.

02:03Yeah I thought Hugo didn't have much to do but what he did with his feet and his distribution

02:08was excellent, he set us away from a lot of our chances so I thought he had a real solid

02:14start to his time in and I'm real happy with that.

02:17He was obviously a good one to get in wasn't he, with Pat obviously getting the goal ball

02:21shot he was a good one to get in.

02:22Yeah obviously we knew Pat was going and Hugo was top of our list, I say Pat's a mould of

02:29Hugo, he's a lot senior and he's played higher up the pyramid, he's got all the things that

02:35Pat's got so he fit straight in and yeah we're really happy with that one.

02:40So you'd had good pressure in the first half and then you just kept building it the second

02:43half, it was almost wave after wave before they equalised wasn't it, it really felt like

02:47it was coming wasn't it?

02:48Yeah it did, it felt like it was coming, the chances were starting to fall.

02:51I think they've had one, I think Gallagher's hit one from 40 yards, tried to catch Kee off

02:59the line, unfortunate for us it's hit the post but I think from that, I think Hugo's

03:04picked the ball up and he's seen one from 50 yards and put us on a chance where maybe

03:09we should have scored.

03:10But yeah once the goal came the momentum was all us and it's just whether we could get

03:16it and then you know, fortunate it's made sure we peddled a season from their player,

03:22the only thing they're missing was the celebration.

03:25But yeah it was a great finish.

03:27Yeah and Joe Jackson obviously called that equaliser in lovely didn't he?

03:31Yeah he's a good build up player as well, yeah Joe Jackson he shot back in and we had

03:36the angle on that, he bent it in lovely, just glided around in there and yeah set us on

03:42our way.

03:43And subs again, good impact when they all came on, happy with that?

03:46Yeah those were all good, yeah Shea, you know great defending to block Shea on the line

03:50from him putting in, I thought he worked his socks off when he came on and then you know

03:55the fans got a glimpse of Ben today, yeah another one that he's going to be good for us.

04:01He was happy to put his foot in but also good on the ball as well wasn't he?

04:05Yeah he's got the whole package, I think for him, I think his size for a lot of managers

04:12is an issue most probably, but you get him on the pitch he's a football player and a

04:17proper football player and yeah we're glad we got him.

04:19Yeah that slight of build but he can certainly look after himself can't he?

04:22Yeah he can look after himself, you play the game and he can play the game, he can pass

04:27it forwards, he can put his foot in, yeah he's got the full package.

04:32Dad's off the bench again today, sort of fully fit now?

04:36Yeah building it up, building it up, you know he still feels a little bit but yeah building

04:40up, we've got 25 out of him today and yeah again you saw when he came on some of the

04:45stuff he can do on the pitch, he's a boost for everyone and yeah the squad's getting

04:50healthier and we're getting stronger so yeah really happy.

04:53Yeah so injury wise it's sort of looking brighter now isn't it?

04:57It's looking brighter yeah with Daz and obviously Ben coming in, yeah I think Jack's maybe 10

05:03days away with Flanners the same, unfortunately we lost Richie on Thursday in training, just

05:08injured his ankle but yeah we're looking healthier and yeah it's looking good.

05:18Yeah it's a great turnout, you felt it as well, especially second half, you had that

05:23vibe a couple of seasons ago when we were winning games, they just sucked you in and

05:30yeah it was good to be part of today.

05:32I'd say obviously 12 points ahead of Reigns' parking third now, you're in Kingston, you've

05:36now got that sort of buffer now, you two at the top there?

05:39Yeah we've got that buffer, when you're chasing it's only early, there's still lots of football

05:44to play but you look at it, there's a lot of mistakes we've got to make for them to

05:49really claw back.

05:50What are your thoughts now on the Met Police sort of mix-up?

05:53Yeah it's a weird one with fixtures because we've played obviously Reigns' park twice

05:59now, Howard Brothers twice and Ashford twice and then being Met Police twice we only played

06:04them a few weeks ago here and they give us a real good game, I quite liked what they

06:09did and over there it's a lovely pitch so I expect another good game.

06:14Another three weeks to build up to that, is that working out quite well do you think?

06:18Yeah it is now, we had a tough stint in October where we were playing back-to-back and we've

06:23eased off now so we've got a fresh week, the boys can go and recover and we come in training

06:28Thursday and prepare for Saturday.
