00:07So, where have we come from? What's the shape of us on the game?

00:11Pretty much how it's been for us the last couple of months. We've played really good football.

00:16We've started the game really well. We've probably got 10 minutes of really good possession.

00:20Then we have a counter-attack against us and the side looks like they're going to score every time that happens.

00:24And it does, doesn't it? We've won it up and it looks like that happens every week.

00:29The difference this week was the attitude towards how we reacted to the ball.

00:33And it stayed positive.

00:36We've had a bit easy today. We've had a bit of a bit of a slow.

00:40We just need to try and get a bit more connected.

00:43They definitely did that and obviously that's why we just plugged away.

00:47I think, again, we've just got to come away from what we've won.

00:52The last five minutes we've probably had a bit of a bit of a cushion.

00:56The weather just sort of swinging again. The wind's blown through the face this evening.

01:00It's just how you adjust and adapt to it. We've lost a couple of birds to injury.

01:04We've had to make another couple of changes.

01:06But in general, I'm pleased with the performance.

01:09But now we have to make sure we do something positive on Tuesday.

01:13As I say, it started really brightly. We had a couple of chances that were bright and then conceded.

01:18But the heads didn't go down today.

01:22It's difficult to not drop your heads when you've got a bit of time.

01:28We don't get the run of the green. I'm telling you now.

01:31There's a player for them in the first half who's made seven fouls.

01:34And they've had to take it off because they know it shouldn't have been sent off.

01:37And we've had a player that, for whatever reason, I didn't see it, but it got simply.

01:41We played by the rules for that action. Why are we not playing by the rules at all?

01:44That's why it's so frustrating.

01:46But we're not in a position to question officials anymore

01:49because they've sort of got a power where they'll just wave cards around.

01:52And that's them dealing with the situation, even if they're right or wrong.

01:55So we've just got to be bigger and better and get on with it.

01:57We did that. We still were the better side with 10 men.

02:00We're a little bit naive in the minute in there where we tried to press them forward and they didn't work.

02:05But to be honest, overall, I can't fault the effort today.

02:09It's a big improvement. But it had to happen.

02:12We've been nice now. It's the people who are playing for this shirt.

02:15It's their position in this group.

02:18It seemed then you got through that spell.

02:20At half-time, what was the message going into the second half?

02:24Listen, I was happy with the efforts in that.

02:26I just think it was the quality.

02:27But sometimes that can come down to confidence.

02:29Because obviously we're going in there going,

02:31we're 1-0 down and we don't score many goals.

02:33How are we going to get back in the game?

02:35But you've got to believe it. You have to believe it.

02:37It can't just be the people on the side who believe it.

02:39The players have got to.

02:40And I think today they did have that belief.

02:42It's an exciting front. Six players that we've got.

02:45When they get the ball, we look dangerous.

02:47We just need someone that will poke the ball through the net sometimes.

02:53It's the hardest thing to teach.

02:55It's the hardest thing to find.

02:57If there's anyone out there, they're expensive or they're playing somewhere.

03:00We've got to manage what we've got and we'll continue to do so.

03:03But overall, I'm pleased.

03:05We just need to move on and hopefully get something positive again Tuesday.

03:09And you equalised a really good cross

03:11and a really good, brave diving header from Jamie Hoppett.

03:14Yeah, look, Hoppett will do that for us. That's what he does.

03:17He's played in probably six or seven positions for me since he's been here.

03:20He came in, he was the sort of player we needed at the right time when he came in a couple of years ago.

03:24He's now the sort of player that keeps you scalponised.

03:27He's been around the block, he knows the crack

03:29and he will do whatever it takes to try and win a game of football.

03:32Players can learn from him and where he's been and what he's done.

03:35Sometimes not everything comes off for him.

03:39But he plays with his heart and that's the big difference.

03:41If we can just get everyone else doing that, it'll make such a difference.

03:44So you got the equaliser and then you had a couple of chances yourself to win it.

03:48Obviously, they had the spell at the end with the wind advantage.

03:51But you had a few chances to win it.

03:53Well, it wasn't any fair clear cut.

03:56It's probably four or five chances each in the last 20 minutes.

04:00You're just hoping something doesn't ricochet and go in off anyone in their favour.

04:05Certainly, I would have taken it in our favour for sure.

04:07I think the pattern of the game, it was difficult to play quality football.

04:13You had to keep it on the deck, which is what we try and do.

04:16So Dickie did shoot us.

04:17They went a little bit longer and a little bit more direct.

04:23Maybe we will.

04:24They'll probably say they were disappointed.

04:26We'll say we're disappointed.

04:27For us, the positive is we've got a point.

04:30We've had enough of this football.

04:32Let's go again next week.

04:34The weather, obviously, not great today.

04:36But credit to both teams for making the most of it and cracking on.

04:40We dug in and worked the hardest because of the weather.

04:43You wouldn't enjoy being out.

04:46I don't seem to enjoy it.

04:48Maybe we'll hope for this sort of weather Tuesday.

04:59These lads are not playing football full-time.

05:02They're stretched with physical and medical resources, etc.

05:11We'll try and get them back ready, available for Saturday.

05:14That's why you've got to have a big squad.

05:15We don't have a 23 now, boss.

05:17So to lose two and have a three already unavailable,

05:20it does make things a little bit tougher on Tuesday.

05:22But it is what it is.

05:23So a busy week, Tuesday and Saturday.

05:25Just look to take the positives from today into Tuesday.

05:29100 per cent, mate.

05:31It's what we will do and will continue to do.
