00:00Hina Batangan MP Bung Moktar Radin and his wife Zizi Izzet Abdul Samad have been ordered

00:09to enter their defence on corruption and abetment charges.

00:13Justice Zaini Mazlan read the broad grounds of the unanimous decision handed down by the

00:18Court of Appeal.

00:20He also said the revision application filed by the couple was akin to filing an appeal,

00:26which he believed was a disruption of the trial process.

00:31In 2019, Bung was charged with receiving bribes of RM2.2 million and RM262,500 as an inducement

00:40to obtain Felker's approval to invest RM115 million in public mutual unit trusts.

00:47He was also charged with receiving a bribe of RM337,500 from a public mutual investment

00:54agent under Zizi's name.

00:57Zizi faces three charges of abetting Bung in committing the alleged offences.
