Grieving Spanish families struggle to bury relatives after Valencia floods

A Spanish family was finally able to find a local cemetery to bury a relative on Saturday, November 16, weeks after losing their home in the tragedy that killed 217 people in the Valencia floods.

Catarroja resident Lourdes Gamero's mother, who suffered from multiple sclerosis, died on Friday morning, November 15.

The mother aged 74 years old was living with her daughter in a ground floor apartment when it flooded.
