00:16The four suspended officials are Special Disbursing Officer Gina Acosta, Assistant Chief of Staff

00:21and Bids and Awards Chairperson Lemuel Ortono, former Deputy Assistant Secretary Sunshine

00:26Fajarda, and former DepEd Special Disbursing Officer Edward Fajarda.

00:31Sunshine and Edward Fajarda are a couple who allegedly had roles in handing out cash gifts

00:35to DepEd officials when they were there with Duterte.

00:38Duterte resigned as Education Secretary in June.

00:41Meanwhile, the committee for now spares Duterte's Chief of Staff Zulaica Lopez because she said

00:46she was abroad taking care of a sick relative.

00:48But if Lopez skips the next hearing, she will be cited in contempt too.
