Shona Harris, one of 1600 owners of racehorse "Just Fine", talks to ACM about the Waterhouse-trained Gelding she expects to win the 2024 Melbourne Cup.

00:002022, I was playing golf with the girls in the Alice Springs Golf Club and they suggested

00:05buying a share of Just Fine, so I got myself a share of Just Fine and I got my husband

00:10Scotty a share as well for Christmas, so we both own 0.02%, the nail in his hoof.

00:17I think it's going to be fantastic, there's 1600 owners, it's a syndicate called My Racehorse

00:23and I'm sure we're going to win.

00:25I've been on a racetrack since I was four years old and you could never afford, you'd

00:28have to choose between having children or have a horse, that's about it because Just

00:32Fine costs about $5,000 a month to train, buying our share we don't have to kick any

00:37more in ever, it all comes out of the prize money and the ownership.

00:42Very exciting, Robbie Waterhouse bought it off the king, brought it over and it won a

00:46group one straight away, so it's paid for itself.

00:49Anyway, we expect him to win, 1600 of us will be throwing our hats up.
