Hello again. A wet day to come for parts of eastern England. Brighter skies elsewhere,
00:05
albeit with a lot of cloud out. Some showers developing, particularly for parts of Scotland
00:11
and Northern Ireland. A series of weather fronts affecting the UK at the moment. A weak
00:15
front there for the north-west, but this more active feature has been pushing in from the
00:20
south during the morning and the satellite and radar from earlier in the day shows the
00:24
heavy rainfall as it developed across southern England, moving its way northwards and extending
00:29
across a large part of central and eastern England, southern and eastern Scotland. But
00:35
the heaviest rainfall is there across parts of the East Midlands into East Anglia and
00:38
that's really going to push into Lincolnshire, parts of Yorkshire into the afternoon and
00:42
it's going to persist here as well. Meanwhile, some drier and brighter weather to the south,
00:48
but potential for some heavy thundery showers to break out in the south-east by the afternoon.
00:53
A lot of cloud and residue rainfall affecting parts of northern England, southern and central
00:58
Scotland and showers also breaking out for parts of north-west Scotland and Northern
01:02
Ireland by the end of the afternoon. One or two showers for Wales and the south-west likewise,
01:06
but that's where the best of the driest and brightest weather will be and the highest
01:10
temperature is 22 or 23 Celsius. It's going to feel cool where we've got the persistent
01:15
rain meanwhile in the east of England. It does finally peter out through the first half
01:20
of the night. It pushes into the North Sea, leaving a legacy of low cloud across northern
01:24
and eastern parts of the UK. Some clear spells for northern England, southern Scotland, Wales
01:29
and the south-west, but only allowing for some fog patches to form by the start of Wednesday.
01:35
Temperatures at 12 to 15 Celsius through the night and some gloomy conditions to begin
01:40
the day on Wednesday with the fog patches in the west and the low cloud in the east
01:44
and some spots of rain and drizzle remaining from that weather front. But into the afternoon,
01:48
things do tend to dry up and brighten up in many places. The cloud will lift and break.
01:52
Cloudy spells, yes, but I think a lot of cloud remains and for Scotland and Northern
01:56
Ireland, further showers to come. Where we get some sunshine coming through in the south
02:01
meanwhile, temperatures up to 22 or 23 Celsius, high teens further north and as we end the
02:06
day Wednesday, showers developing a bit more across northern England into parts of Wales
02:11
as well. But clearing skies elsewhere and that will likely lead to another misty, foggy
02:16
night in places with some dense fog patches potentially causing some issues on the roads
02:21
first thing Thursday. But Thursday looks like the best day of the week with plenty
02:25
of fine and bright weather after that misty start. Follow us on social media and we will
02:29
of course keep you updated on all the latest. Bye bye.
