00:00Hello there, hope you enjoyed your weekend. For some, it could be ending on quite a lively

00:05note with the chance of thunderstorms developing overnight. It's low pressure that is influencing

00:11our weather at the moment and this bringing some showers and breezy winds. Those winds

00:15though are coming up from the south which is tapping into some rather warm air by both

00:20day and night. Looking at the detail for Sunday evening and we'll see a band of showers move

00:25in crossing south-west England, Wales and up towards Northern Ireland. There is a yellow

00:30thunderstorm warning issued for the overnight period so do just be aware of potential flash

00:35flooding and hail that could be around. Eastern areas of England and northern mainland Scotland

00:40will stay largely dry through the night. For everyone, it will feel rather warm and temperatures

00:46won't be dropping much below 15 or 16 degrees due to those winds coming up from the south.

00:52And it will be rather breezy across Scotland as we start off Monday morning with that rain

00:56pushing northwards. Still the chance of some heavier bursts in there. Sunny spells follow

01:01on behind this for Northern Ireland, Wales and England and although low pressure is in

01:06charge of our weather, for many, Monday will be a fairly fine day. Still the chance of

01:10some isolated showers but many will stay largely dry. In the sunshine, temperatures also climbing

01:17with peaks around 25 to 27 degrees Celsius across eastern England. The winds will begin

01:22to strengthen though in the south-west as we see another band of showers push its way

01:26in for Monday evening. This again spreading across south-west England, Wales and into

01:31Northern Ireland with some heavy bursts possible. And this is a sign of things to come as low

01:36pressure is staying with us throughout the coming week so there will always be the risk

01:41of showers and thunderstorms but others may still see those drier intervals in between.

01:46As low pressure shifts its way eastwards, winds will tend to ease down a bit and we'll

01:51also see temperatures drop off ever so slightly. You can keep up to date with all of that and
