00:00And I want to look at the AP Player of the Year movement in the last couple of weeks

00:07because we know Saquon's had some huge weeks, he's on a bye this week, so he can't really

00:11help us in fantasy.

00:12But he is still at the top of the board when it comes to Player of the Year on the offensive

00:17side.

00:18Saquon at plus 430, Derrick Henry after a huge performance goes to plus 470.

00:22So he just jumps into the conversation, which I think is great.

00:26I'm here for it.

00:27I'd love to see it happen.

00:28And there's a guy at plus 600 that I want to talk about because we did the deep dive

00:32on Sam Darnold, and Justin Jefferson's right there.

00:35And Tyreek Hill is nowhere to be found.

00:38And you know, the Garrett Wilsons and some of the other guys that we had high hopes for

00:42really haven't, you know, come to fruition.

00:44So there it is, once again, ho-hum, Justin Jefferson just continuing to fall out and

00:49be spectacular.

00:51And I feel like there's a narrative growing here, George, where Sam Darnold playing quarterback,

00:55somehow Justin Jefferson's greatness is helping to carry mediocre Sam Darnold up the hill.

01:03And that narrative means something.

01:05These are media awards.

01:07And I think the Jefferson narrative is one that's going to really win out.

01:10Running backs are always tough because as the season goes on, there is some wear and

01:14tear.

01:15There's always a higher injury risk.

01:16I look at this plus 600 and I see a great opportunity to still get a fantastic return

01:21on investment in Justin Jefferson for this award.

01:24The Tyreek Hills, the CD Lambs, I mean, Nico Collins isn't in this conversation yet.

01:30Maybe he should be.

01:31Maybe after a couple more weeks, people will start to come around on that.

01:34But I got to tell you, right now, it seems like Justin Jefferson is maybe a favorite

01:40in number three clothing.

01:42And I think he is the guy people should be betting on right now.

01:45But how do you see it?

01:46Oh, I think you're on the right track here.

01:50Running backs, it's also hard there.

01:53Donnelly is a sexy name because of the trade here, because of what he's done to Philadelphia.

01:58So I think he'll pick up again as well, but they also get hurt more than other positions

02:02here.

02:03Jefferson, such a good wide receiver.

02:05I'm trying to find somebody else here we can talk about.

02:07I mean, Marvin Harris is more for the rookie of the year, but that's going to be tough

02:10over the quarterbacks.

02:11There's not anybody else here that really truly stands out here.

02:16I'm looking at a list here that I would say could compete for this.

02:20Jefferson, the whole story is beautiful, right?

02:22You already mentioned Donnelly.

02:23All right.

02:24He's come out of, I don't want to say out of nowhere, but we didn't expect this.

02:26No one ever, oh, Detroit Lions, they're going to a Super Bowl, right?

02:30They stole Mike, by the way.

02:31Green Bay, how well they played in destroying Dallas last year.

02:34Hell, maybe they should have gone to the Super Bowl last year.

02:37You know?

02:38And then Minnesota was an afterthought, right?

02:39Because even Chicago, Caleb Williams, Keenan Allen, you know, they're up and coming.

02:42They're going to be good.

02:43You know?

02:44And once J.J. McCarthy got hurt, oh, well, no one cared about Minnesota.

02:46Really no one cared.

02:47Right?

02:48In reality.

02:49We don't, it's done.

02:51You know, they'll finish third or fourth in the division.

02:52So it's a beautiful story when you think about it.

02:55The whole thing.

02:56That being said, you know, they're going to lay an egg in this game now that we keep doing

02:58this.

02:59So I'm with you on John Jefferson.

03:00I think it's a great story, but he said that with all due respect, I'm no Garrett Wilson.

03:04Gets a chance to prove that today.

03:06So he is the best receiver in football.

03:08We know that.

03:09It doesn't matter who's, if anyone's making more money than him, that never matters here.

03:14So I think you're onto something here.

03:15Now, I'll give one caveat again.

03:19I mentioned early on the show, Sam Donald, last time we saw this, not to this degree,

03:23but he played well with Carolina for the first four or five games, and then it all went away.

03:28So I do want to see a bit of it more to make sure he's going to have this throughout the

03:30season here.

03:32But unlike with Carolina, he's got much better talent here.

03:39Addison's are there, you know, they got Aaron Jones for the running game.

03:44So I think there's more here.

03:45I like JJ a whole bunch.
