Man charged with murder after death of 32-year-old in Marrickville

A man has been charged with murder over a fatal stabbing outside a fast-food shop in Sydney’s inner west.

00:17New South Wales have confirmed that the alleged victim and the offender were known to each

00:22other and CCTV footage found the offender running from the scene.

00:2631-year-old Jacob Thomas Spence was arrested on Wednesday afternoon in Concord after investigations

00:34by police and he was taken to Burwood Police Station where he was charged with murder.

00:38He didn't appear at Burwood local court today and a bail application was not made.

00:44The case has been adjourned for another eight weeks.

00:47His lawyer walking out of court today was heard saying forget about the charges.
