Burnie's newest hotel One North Terrace welcomed its first guests on September 16. Acting general manager Craig Lunn gave us a tour of the new hotel. Video by Rodney Woods

00:00Hello, I'm Craig, I'm the Opening General Manager of the One North Terrace.

00:07Bernie's newest hotel, maybe Tasmania's newest hotel.

00:11Come and have a look.

00:21Lobby.

00:25And we'll take you up to a room.

00:28The backdrop there, the photograph is the original quarry that the hotel was built upon,

00:34the city on top.

00:40The hotel's got beautiful views of the ocean out the front there.

00:44You've got a working dock that you can watch the activity,

00:48but you won't hear it because every room's double glazed.

00:51We're close to all the restaurants and cafes, walking trails.

01:03We'll take you up to level three.

01:06Some of our rooms have got balconies, we've got two-bedroom apartments,

01:10some of our rooms have got full kitchens with a washer-dryer combo.

01:16And we've got underground car parking with an electric car charging station.

01:20So if you've got an electric car, you can charge that overnight while you're staying at the hotel.

01:24All internal corridors, so you don't have to brave the cold weather if it's cold.

01:34And into one of our rooms.

01:40So every room's got a different photo.
