00:00Hi everyone, Jacob Bevis from The Advocate here at the new Valley Road Grandstand, which holds more than 700 seating capacity, five corporate boxes, a function room, which holds 100 people, change rooms for referees and players, a gym, everything you need to make a state-of-the-art facility. Let's go take a look inside.
00:23Let's start underneath the grandstand with the brand new spanking player change rooms. There is plenty of space for the players. The bathroom is a pretty well modern designed bathroom with plenty of showers. There's also ice baths in this room.
00:43And then we head to this little room here, the treatment room, for any rubdowns the players may require.
00:50Now it gets even more exciting when you go upstairs because if you like to socialise and have a beverage while watching the action on the field, then this is the room for you.
01:02The function room, which can hold up to 100 people. There's also five corporate boxes, a boardroom. My favourite feature is the balcony, where you can not only see the main pitch, but also the pitch behind the grandstand. How good is that?
01:24I've got to take my head off to our builders, AJR Construct, to be a massive task by them and all the sub-trains.
01:33They are first class. I think they're as good as any facilities in the country. So I think any team, whether it be an A-League team or even a national team, would be more than happy to utilise these facilities.
01:44So I think for the sport, it's a massive investment. It's the largest infrastructure investment the sport's had for a long period of time. So we are just very fortunate that that investment is located at Valley Road.
