Philippines prepares relief goods in anticipation of upcoming storms

Philippines' Social Welfare Department has prepositioned food packs on September 16 and has readied augmentation funds to help local government units in anticipation of at least two tropical cyclones threaten to enter Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). According to government weather bureau latest forecast, Tropical Depression Gener may hit land in the next 24 hours over eastern Luzon island while Tropical Storm Pulasan forecasted to enter PAR in the next 36 hours.
