00:27Good, it feels good to see someone say, ah, good, I'll see you at the CMAs.

00:29Of course, and then you just, you're here in the middle of your tour,

00:32so let's talk about tour, man.

00:34You had Jesse Murph, Wiz Khalifa, MGK out there.

00:36Yes!

00:37So how is it to have all that friendliness and support in the industry?

00:40Dude, you know, even cooler was not only having them come out on stage,

00:43Pauly Shore came to see me, Theo Vaughn came to see me, Good Charlotte came to see me.

00:48It was, it was really special.

00:51I felt, it felt like my birthday all day, you know?

00:54And to be headlining the Staples Center and making my debut there

00:57and have that much love and support was cool, man.

01:00And it was a great show, and then you get to come here now

01:02to do something very important and very meaningful.

01:04So tell me about Memorandum and how it is to prepare for something that's so important.

01:07I think that, here's the truth.

01:11To be able, to be the only, to be the artist that gets picked to do this,

01:16this is special, man.

01:17We are honoring the greatest storytellers in television, in film.

01:22We're honoring the greatest storytellers of the last, of the last years, decades.

01:27And to be the guy that gets to sing that song, man,

01:30I think it's just further proof of how important therapeutic music is

01:33and cathartic music still is and how much real music can still exist, you know?

01:38Yeah, man, you love to take us to church, as I always say.

01:40That's it, baby.

01:41And there's a new album coming, October 11th, so what can you tease?

01:43Yes, Beautifully Broken.

01:44Any collabs, what do we got?

01:45Listen, Beautifully Broken, I've got a lot of collabs.

01:47I don't know if I can tease any of them yet, but you're going to be excited.

01:50It's really cool.

01:51I have spent so much time working on this album.

01:54I've never been more proud of a body of work.

01:56She's going to get mad at me for saying this,

01:59but I have no intention of putting out a project next year.

02:01I put all my eggs in this basket.

02:04I have wrote this album.

02:06I want this album to live.

02:08Well, we're excited for it.

02:09And what show have you been watching that you're excited to see come back for a new season?
