00:00Together with JPJ, we launched a new initiative which is a special plate for EV vehicles.
00:09This is one of the things that I have mentioned before.
00:14And today we have successfully launched this initiative.
00:19This means that new EV vehicles will be equipped with this special plate.
00:29As we have shown earlier, there are safety features such as RFID.
00:37And the type of plate is different from the usual one.
00:43The number is embossed and it has better safety features.
00:48Of course, this will be used for all new EV vehicles.
00:52So, all EV vehicles will be equipped with this plate.
00:59We have also launched a new series of indexes for EV vehicles.
01:07Starting with the EV Index.
01:10So, EVs can only be registered under EV vehicles.
01:16So, these are the two things that we started to implement today.
01:21And I am confident that EVs will be well received by EV owners or those who want to buy EVs in the future.
01:30EVs will only be charged at RM98.
01:34So, for the installation, while providing the vehicle to the company,
01:42they have included the price in the cost of the vehicle.
01:48And usually, on the road, the price will include the plate.
01:56Mandatory in terms of the plate, but not in terms of the index.
02:01So, the index, they can choose to have EV or any other numbers.
02:06Your other index, no problem.
02:08But the material for the plate must use the new one for the new EVs.
02:14So, for the existing EV owners, they are not affected.
02:17But they can change to it if they want.
02:20So, we are giving that option in one or two months' time.
02:23So, right now, in the next one or two months, we just want to focus on the new road offers.
02:28So, for all new EVs, it will be installed with this particular plate.
02:39No, don't get it wrong.
02:41The RM98 is for the plate, not for the number.
02:45The number, of course, is more than that.
02:55No, that is normal.
02:56The JPJ EBIT is a separate thing.
02:59JPJ EBIT is for the number.
03:01The number you can bid.
03:02Of course, for a single digit, it starts from RM20,000.
03:07Then, of course, running numbers, they are RM300.
03:10RM300 for running numbers.
03:13What I meant of the RM98 is for the plate, not for the number.
03:20Number, of course, you have to register with JPJ.
