00:17 Because EVs are still in a very new level.

00:21 In our country, there are less than 10,000 EVs.

00:25 So, we need to fight for people to start using EVs.

00:33 And the ecosystem needs to be implemented and built.

00:36 Including the cleaning system and so on.

00:39 And that is one of the things that we are taking action on as a whole of government approach.

00:46 That's why in the implementation of EV industry,

00:51 it's not just involving any ministries.

00:54 The Ministry of Transport is a part of the implementation that we need to do.

01:00 For example, we have re-examined the road tax for EVs, which I will announce soon.

01:06 We have asked the EV Task Force to ensure that the road tax structure for EVs

01:13 is more competitive and not burdening.

01:19 So that it can encourage more people to buy EVs.

01:25 So, I think we are encouraging people to buy EVs.

01:29 But it requires a long term effort.

01:35 And it's not easy for such a big shift from conventional vehicles to EVs.

01:42 It requires continuous efforts from various parties.

01:46 And of course, the Ministry of Transport will continue to support government efforts

01:50 and the government's base for EV development.
