Woman enjoying quiet dip in the middle of nowhere interrupted by army exercise

A woman enjoying a quiet dip in a local river was abruptly interrupted by a line of soldiers with guns passing by.

Laura Truelove, 29, is an avid wild swimmer and loves to swim in the Brecon Beacons National Park due to its peacefulness.

But last month, as she was enjoying an after-walk swim in the River Tawe, several armed soldiers in military suits unexpectedly turned up.

Neither Laura or the soldiers noticed one another until they were already on top of each other.

After a quick smile and nod from the first soldier, the rest of them followed swiftly and quietly, leaving Laura to enjoy her swim.
