00:37to consider implementing the No Plate No Travel policy.

00:41Meanwhile, PNP Highway Patrol Group, Cordillera,

00:44is one of the first to take action for the so-called law.

00:48We have previously observed that those who commit crimes

00:53use vehicles without attached plates.

00:58Especially now that the midterm election is near,

01:04they might use that to commit crimes.

01:12Officials encouraged their active participation with other law enforcement agencies

01:18in rolling through the checkpoints and main roads in the region

01:22to ensure the safety of motorists.

01:25PNP-HPG was named as Guardians of the Highway.

01:30Meanwhile, because of the strong joint coordination of CIDG Baguio

01:35for the one-time big-time operation,

01:38the couple was successfully arrested by the Warrant of Arrest.

01:43According to the chief investigator,

01:45these people were charged with carnapping and large-scale swindling.

01:49The couple was proven guilty of being involved with the suspects.

01:55We served 155 warrants and no bail.

02:03They were not able to be bailed because of large-scale swindling.

02:11As for carnapping, the bail amounted to Php 300,000

02:18and the estafa amounted to Php 1,000,000.

02:24One of the primary responsibilities of PNP-HPG

02:28is to investigate unregistered private vehicles and public vehicles

02:34and to investigate carnapped vehicles or so-called hot cars.
