01:42His comments came after an Israeli airstrike hit a school-turned-shelter in central Gaza

01:47early on Saturday morning, killing at least a hundred and wounding dozens more, according

01:52to Palestinian authorities.

01:55Women, children and the elderly were reported to be amongst the dead.

02:01The strikes allegedly hit as people performed their morning prayers.

02:07Israel acknowledged the strike on the school in central Gaza city, claiming a Hamas command

02:11centre had been located within it.

02:14However, a top Hamas official denied there were militants in the building.

02:21The facility, like almost all of Gaza's schools, had been used as a shelter for people who
