00:47The Russian emergency ministry said on Saturday that more than 10,000 local residents were

00:52staying at temporary accommodation centers in other parts of the country.

00:58The Ukrainian military push into Kursk has seen Kiev's forces seize several villages,

01:03take hundreds of prisoners and force the evacuation of tens of thousands of civilians.

01:10It's the largest attack on Russia since World War II.

01:15Kiev hopes that the surprise incursion into Russia, which started on August 6, will change

01:20the dynamic of the more than two-year-old conflict.

01:24But Ukrainian officials have repeatedly said that the aim of the operation isn't to occupy

01:28Russia but to force Moscow to negotiate peace on Kiev's terms.

02:51a trainee doctor at a state-run hospital in West Bengal state.

02:56The strike was called by the Indian Medical Association, which said all non-essential

03:00services at hospitals would be shut down across the country for 24 hours.

03:46Firefighters in Turkey continue to battle multiple blazes burning for a third day across

03:53The Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate says more than 131 forest fires have erupted

03:59in the past week.

04:32saddened and that the actor passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family.

04:37Born in France in 1935, Delon rose to international fame in the 1960s with memorable roles in

04:44films like In Full Sun and The Leopard.

04:47His loss will be deeply felt by fans and colleagues around the world.
