00:03the daily subsistence allowance that you are receiving will be doubled by the camera.

00:38Rumualdez announced that under the 2025 National Budget,

00:42the daily subsistence allowance of the troops of the government will be doubled.

00:47From P150, it will be P350 each day

00:53that the soldiers usually use for food.

00:56We in the House of Representatives already have undertaken

01:00that in the forthcoming budget that we shall now include,

01:05a P15 billion package that will increase,

01:09will more than double your P150 subsistence allowance to P350.

01:17I repeat, we are more than doubling your subsistence allowance.

01:22And that is in due recognition for the overdue increase

01:30that we think you have deserved for a long time.

01:35According to Speaker Rumualdez,

01:37the government acknowledges the good service of the Armed Forces.

01:41That is why they continue their efforts in the Congress

01:44to improve the condition of the soldiers and their families.

01:50You are the most important and critical component

01:54of our National Defense Program.
