00:00Meanwhile, let's take a look at the cleanup drive in a barangay in Quezon City.

00:12Even though the cleanup drive was delayed due to the rain,
00:16the activity here in Tatalon, Quezon City is still ongoing.
00:20This is a line that can be used to help reduce the garbage
00:22following the heavy rain that hit Baguio, Carina.
00:27Some places in Petro, Manila were flooded, including Quezon City.
00:33After Baguio, Carina was hit by the rain, it's been two weeks since the last time it rained.
00:37One of the main reasons is due to the heavy drainage caused by the garbage.
00:42That's why the cleanup drive in Barangay Tatalon was held
00:45by 150 members of the World Mission Society Church of God,
00:49the Quezon City Government, QCPD, Barangay Tatalon and Barangay Quirino
00:55to help those affected by Baguio, Carina.
00:58The piles of garbage on the road are really heavy.
01:02It can't be carried by one person, so it really needs help.
01:12Indirectly, by gathering these solid wastes,
01:15we can help mitigate the climate crisis.
01:19The program started earlier at 7 o'clock,
01:21which was immediately followed by the cleanup drive in Barangay Tatalon.
01:24According to the organization,
01:26their programs to fight climate change are continuous
01:30through the Global Hope Supporters Program.
01:33The program consists of 260 chapters in the Philippines
01:36that focus on activities to take care of the environment.
01:40There are also 10 Korean national volunteers in the cleanup drive.
01:46Aside from the cleanup drive,
01:49the organization is also conducting tree planting activities
01:52and environmental awareness seminars in different parts of the country.
