00:08It is located in Pumpa Aralan in the province of Pinsala and was severely affected by floods

00:12due to heavy rain and typhoons earlier.

00:15In the report of the Department of Education, most of these are located in the Cordillera Administrative Region,

00:20Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Ilocos Region, Western and Eastern Visayas.

00:25More than Php 600 million will be needed for the repair and rehabilitation of damaged schools.

00:32According to the Education Secretary, Sunny Angara,

00:35it is possible that the opening of schools will be delayed.

00:39For now, the cleaning and assessment of DepEd continues to ensure the needs of the affected schools.

00:48The Department of Social Welfare and Development of DSWD continues to assist the families affected by the floods.

00:55In the latest report, the DSWD has given Php 360,228 to the Family Food Packs in the National Capital Region,

01:04Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa and Bicol Region.

01:08Php 500,000 of Family Food Packs are also available for the local government units in need.

01:14The DSWD also assures that it will continue to coordinate with the LGUs to provide the needs of the affected families.

01:23The DSWD will also continue to provide assistance to the affected families in Visayas and Mindanao.
