00:00Water levels continue to fall in Angat Reservoir despite the rain.
00:10Yesterday, the expected water level was 174.52 meters.
00:15That's lower than the record 174.81 meters on Saturday.
00:21It's also lower than the minimum operating level of 180 meters.
00:25The agency explained that the local thunderstorms in Angat Bulacan are not enough
00:30and sometimes, they don't directly fall into the watershed.
00:33In fact, during the rainy season,
00:35Angat Watershed has a higher chance of raining because it's in the eastern part of the country.
00:42The water consumption in Angat Reservoir continues to rise.
00:4690% of Metro Manila's water supply comes from the so-called reservoir.
00:51Aside from Angat, water levels in Ipo, Lamesa, Ambuklao, Binga, Sandroque, Magat and Kaliraya Reservoir are also falling.
