00:00It was around the time that she'd just announced, like, Eras, actually.

00:02Kendrick was performing in London and I, last minute, decided to go with my brothers

00:07and we were sitting in this box and I kind of looked to my left and I'm like,

00:11that's Taylor. And I didn't really want to, like, try and, like, wave over, like,

00:16just in case everyone'd be, like, usher away this crazy fan. So I just, like, went up the

00:20stairs to go to the toilet and I thought I'd just try and wave and see if I could catch her eye.

00:24And then she, like, ran over and, like, gave me a hug and we chatted and then it was the first

00:28time she mentioned, like, maybe me joining her on tour, which was crazy.

00:33So has it set in then, given how long ago that was, that it's actually now happening?

00:38It's kind of crazy. I don't know if it'll feel real until I'm, like,

00:41there, you know? And also, I haven't, like, watched any of the Eras tour or the films.

00:47I've, like, really wanted to save it for this moment, so it's going to be an amazing night.

00:51So the first time you see the show will be right after you perform, you think?

00:55I kind of want my set to just, like, be over and done with and I'm mainly just

00:57excited to, like, sit down and watch the show finally.

01:00Have you two had the chance to talk yet about the fact that this date is upcoming?

01:06Do you know what's funny? It's, like, she's been really kind and, like,

01:10generous with showing support on socials, but I never, it's not like we're, like,

01:14texting every day or, like, we're, like, you know, on the phone all the time. I never know.

01:19And she's, like, doing so many things, so it's always wild when

01:23she does show some love. So, yeah, no, we haven't really spoken, but I'm excited to see her.

01:27What is something that you've learned just from watching Taylor about,

01:30kind of, how to be a businesswoman in music?

01:32I think it's really clear that she just is at a point where she's just writing and doing

01:39things that she wants and for her and her fans. It's, like, completely about that relationship,

01:44which is so cool and so hard to do at that scale. And, yeah, I think it's evident that

01:48she's so in control of every aspect of her music and I'm always so inspired that, like,

01:53to be at that scale and be so close to the songwriting process still is, like,

01:57really what it's about for me. So, yeah.
