00:02 - PGA goes north of the border to the RBC Canadian Open.
00:07 Of course, last year you had Nick Taylor
00:09 with the 70 foot eagle in the playoff to be the first.
00:12 What is it, 68, 69 years before Nick
00:16 that a Canadian had won this event.
00:19 And this, unlike other events that we talk about every week,
00:22 this is an event, Keith, where the course rotates
00:25 on a year by year basis.
00:26 So they are not playing at the same track
00:28 that Nick Taylor won on a year ago.
00:29 They're playing at Hamilton,
00:31 where Rory McIlroy has won on in the past.
00:33 - So Hamilton has hosted six of these before.
00:36 This is the seventh.
00:37 They've had four of them since the year 2000.
00:40 And you may have been on Nick Taylor.
00:41 I know he's your guy last year,
00:43 but I was on Tommy Fleetwood in that fourth playoff hall.
00:46 Man, that amazing eagle from 72 feet.
00:49 It made a lot of people happy in Canada.
00:51 I was not in Canada.
00:52 So, you know, another runner up for Tommy.
00:55 And I mean, that's always been his story.
00:57 And he sits second on the odds board this week
00:59 behind that heavy favorite Rory.
01:01 But Hamilton this week, right?
01:03 And you look back at the most recent versions of this,
01:06 you know, Rory at minus 22 in 2019
01:10 with a very interesting,
01:11 and I know we'll get into this more in the outrights,
01:13 but a very interesting top five there.
01:15 It was him and the Irish bear,
01:16 but then you had Webb Simpson, Matt Kuchar,
01:19 and Brant Snedeker.
01:20 I mean, those guys with Rory.
01:22 Hamilton Golf and Country Club
01:23 is one of those classic designs by Harry Colt
01:25 that we just love to see national championships on.
01:28 Just like William Flynn and Lancaster Country Club
01:30 for the Ladies US Open.
01:31 It's gonna be a really entertaining weekend
01:34 on both tours for golf.
