00:00Tonight is the Caleb Williams coronation in Detroit. In other
00:07words, it's the 2024 NFL draft. Caleb Williams is minus 30 or
00:13yeah, 30 thousand. That's what the number is. It's so large.
00:16Sometimes it boggles the brain. He is minus 30 thousand to be
00:19that first overall pick made by the Chicago Bears. Again, no
00:23guarantees but that's as close as you will get. So, Caleb will
00:27be that first overall pick and despite some conversation and
00:31some chatter over the last week about Jaden Daniels liking the
00:35Washington Commanders and vice versa. On draft day morning, he
00:40is a minus 950 favorite to go second overall. Drake May over
00:45a three dollar favorite to be that third overall pick and now
00:49the conversation goes to JJ McCarthy. But before we get to
00:53McCarthy who I consider Donnie to be the most pivotal piece of
00:56this 2024 NFL draft that can change everything that happens
01:00behind him. Let's start at one, two, and three. Do you think we
01:04see three quarterbacks to go off the board? One, two, and three
01:08and do you think in that exact order, it is Williams, Daniels,
01:12May. Yes and it should be in that order and by the way, if
01:15we don't get three quarterbacks off the board in the first
01:18three, somebody's getting fired relatively quickly here and
01:21hopefully within the next 24 hours. The reason why your
01:24franchise is bad is why you're drafting at the top. Now, the
01:27Chicago Bears, you know, a little bit of a different
01:29outlook because technically that's not their pick but they
01:32made an unbelievable move last year to get that number one
01:35pick. But again, you take a look at the Commanders. Oh, we
01:37can wait a year. No, you can't. You're going to draft a
01:39quarterback and the Patriots who need a quarterback worse than
01:42ever are going to say like, no, no, we'll build and get draft
01:44picks for the future. You're not doing that here. It should be
01:47in that exact order that you stated here, Ben, because I do
01:49believe Daniels is too hard to pass up. Nobody's knocking
01:53Drake. He can't be a great quarterback, a five-time pro
01:56bowler and get his team to the Super Bowl. I'm not saying that
01:58here but I just look at players that can transcend the game and
02:02quite frankly, the hit or miss even in the top three picks is
02:05still so hard. We might look at in four years later what
02:07Daniels can't play or Drake. Yeah, we knew his footwork was
02:09bad and he played in Carolina. Didn't you see Sam? He's Sam
02:12Howe point two even though that he's not actually the same
02:15player than Sam Howe but still from that same structure coming
02:17from that offense. So, for me and my money, it better be in
02:21that order with those quarterbacks or else, I don't
02:23know what these guys are watching film on.
