00:07 But you do have people out there that do panic and you have to be able to identify the personality

00:12 types of your managers, even in leagues where you don't know them.

00:15 The way you can find is look at where their moves are.

00:19 You can see how many moves each manager has made and look at those moves.

00:22 You can kind of start to glean a personality or create a prototype, if you will, of that

00:27 manager and then think would they be interested in this next guy?

00:30 So hi, Jesse Winker.

00:32 If I put together a package with Jesse Winker to try to pry Randy or Rosarena nine times

00:38 out of 10, the answer is no.

00:39 But if you can get that one fickle manager that panics, Joe, Jesse Winker right now,

00:44 I mean, is there ever going to be a better time?

00:47 No, there isn't.

00:50 And if you're looking at the numbers of Rosarena and Jesse Winker, Jesse Winker is killing

00:54 him in every category.

00:55 He's got two homers, two steals, three thirty nine in a year.

00:59 It's not.

01:00 But again, to the more novice managers out there or people who are just impatient, he's

01:06 got twenty one hits, twelve runs and three thirty nine with a four fifty five O.B.P.

01:10 and a nine eighty seven O.P.S.

01:12 Jesse Winker has been spectacular.

01:14 It's second in this batting order for the Washington Nationals right now.

01:17 He has been awesome.

01:18 The problem is this is not exactly who Jesse Winker has shown us he's been throughout his

01:22 entire career.

01:23 He's a left handed hitter who has struggled against left handed pitching most of his career.

01:27 If you look at, wow, that batting average is so high.

01:28 It's in the three thirties.

01:29 Why is that?

01:30 Well, it's because if you look at the batting average of balls on play, it is four thirteen

01:35 right now.

01:36 Four thirteen is not a sustainable batting average of balls and play.

01:39 It's just not.

01:40 So that's eventually going to come back down to earth for him and along with that batting

01:43 average.

01:44 So this is the peak value of Jesse Winker.

01:46 I'm not saying you can trade him for Randy Rose or in a straight up.

01:49 That's probably silly.

01:50 But if you can, good for you.

01:52 Congratulations.

01:53 You're going to get like an invite to that league next year.

01:55 However, you can absolutely put him in a package with a pitcher, with another player potentially

02:00 to make a play at an Arosa arena.

02:03 And I think that's something that you want to look at right now.

02:05 But then you're doing or a Zander Bogart.

02:06 So Winker is a player right now that has gotten to a really hot start.

02:10 It's a good story.

02:12 He is a fun player who, you know, in the past has given us these moments.

02:15 Jesse Winker a few years ago for the Reds, people forget people were talking about him

02:18 as an all star for that first half.

02:20 But around the corner, there's going to be that other version of Jesse Winker that we

02:24 always see come back down to earth.

02:26 So I would be looking more for that.

02:28 Again, I think this is peak value.

02:30 If you want to wait another couple of weeks, maybe he sustains it.

02:33 But if it starts to drop off, then you've missed that window.

02:35 And then you're kind of stuck with an outfielder that, you know, the rest of the year, it might

02:39 be underwhelming.

02:40 So that's something to keep in mind.

02:41 Now is the time to trade Jesse Winker if you can.
