00:00 A murder attempt at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1, KLIA-1, left a bodyguard

00:10 In a statement on Sunday, Selangor Police Chief Commissioner Datuk Hussein Omar Khan
00:15 said a shooting occurred on Sunday at around 1.30am inside the KLIA-1 arrival hall.
00:22 During the incident, a man fired off two shots, one of the shots hit the victim, who works
00:26 as a personal bodyguard.
00:28 The suspect then fled the scene.
00:31 Follow-up investigations showed that the suspect had intended to shoot his wife, who was waiting
00:36 for the arrival of an UMRA group.
00:38 The victim suffered severe injuries due to the shooting.
00:42 Commissioner Hussein said this incident stemmed from a personal issue and is unrelated to
00:46 terrorist activities or groups.
00:49 He assured that the situation at KLIA was secure and under control.
00:54 The case is being investigated as an attempted murder under Section 307 of the Penal Code
