Cop Harassing And ILLEGALLY Stopping Black Motorist - March 30, 2024

On the night of March 29th, 2024, deputies in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana responded to a call of shots fired toward a residence from a "black pickup truck with ground-grips." (note: "ground-grips" are more commonly known as mud tires). A deputy attempted to catch up to a black pickup with mud tires that was seen driving very fast, but the vehicle evaded him. Several hours later, in the early morning hours of March 30th, a deputy ran a license plate on a Ford Edge belonging to a black woman. He followed the woman for 15 minutes (proven with timestamps) before ever deciding to stop her. She has since advised me that he said he stopped her because her car "looked like one involved in a shooting earlier." Now, obviously a Ford Edge is NOT a pickup truck with mud tires, so he lied to the woman during what seems to have been an illegal traffic stop. This deputy is a fairly recent hire, is not POST (Peace Officers Standards and Training) certified, and has not been through the police academy. He hasn't been taught the various laws he's both sworn to enforce and is bound by, nor has he been taught the US Constitution's bill of rights and how those rights restrict what he is allowed to do. The only real training he has received is on-the-job with these other deputies, and clearly they are training him to violate citizens' rights and various laws.
