Deputies Harassing Motorists - February 14, 2023

Throughout the day of February 14th, 2023 (Valentine's Day), sheriff's deputies in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana followed/stalked, ran the license plates of, ran warrant checks on, and stopped several motorists. A nightshift deputy then did the same thing throughout the night.
These particular deputies are always preying upon people, looking for any reason whatsoever (no matter how petty) to stop random people and go fishing for a reason to arrest those random people. These deputies have been doing this day after day and night after night, for the last 7 years.
There's nothing particularly notable about the first stop, except that when the dispatcher read back the information, we can hear someone else in the background. That person was sheriff Clay Bennett. It's not very clear, but he was griping about the person who used their cellphone to record a deputy beating a man on Nov. 7th, 2022 (https://youtu.be/03Xu6ILITc8)(https://youtube.com/shorts/OCDyvSB31uM?), the gas station employees who told the news people on live TV that what actually happened didn't match what the sheriff said happened, and another scanner listener who had posted on Facebook some scanner recordings of deputies beating some other people (https://youtu.be/8c5r-8bluBA)(https://youtu.be/QcCPwVS1IRc) and otherwise doing wrong.
