00:14 They said the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, which comes under the Health Ministry's

00:18 Parallel Pathway Program, disappeared from MMC's list that year without any announcement.

00:23 MMC only places doctors in the National Specialist Register if the college is on its recognition

00:28 list.

00:29 Doctors not listed in the NSR cannot practice as specialists.

00:33 Senator Dr. R.A. Linguswaran, who has been pursuing the matter in the Dewanegara, said

00:39 He pointed out that the Health Ministry has offered letters to trained specialists from

00:43 this college for their minimum six-month gazetman process, but now MMC says it does not recognize

00:50 Meanwhile, in a Facebook post, the Malaysian Medical Association's section concerning

00:54 house officers and medical officers, or SKOMOs, also expressed confusion over MMC's announcement.

01:06 for cardiothoracic surgery, including the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and
