Ethics and integrity are the backbone of Project Lintasan Kotoholding Senjam Berhat,
00:08
driving its operations as one of Malaysia's leading highway concessionaires.
00:14
As pioneers in their field, ProLintas was the first to roll out a comprehensive set
00:19
of integrity policies, reinforcing its commitment to transparency and ethical practices.
00:24
Annually, ProLintas hosts its Integrity Day events, and this year's theme,
00:28
Sustainable Progress, Ethical Practices, Integrating Integrity into Corporate DNA,
00:33
reinforces its zero-tolerance stance on corruption. The event featured notable
00:38
speakers such as Krasarana Malaysia Berhat Board Member, Mustafa Ali, Malaysia Institute of
00:44
Integrity Board Member, Akbar Sattar, as well as Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department
00:49
Director, Shuhaili Zain. Furthering their dedication, ProLintas rolled out their Vendor
00:54
Integrity Program in October under the slogan, Partnering for Integrity, Delivering with Trust,
01:00
which brought together industry leaders, business partners, and third-party service providers
01:04
to elevate integrity throughout their entire network. The integrity framework is supported
01:10
by their Supplier Code of Conduct. The code is reinforced with the Integrity Pact,
01:14
which every vendor must sign as a commitment to upholding these values.
01:19
Aligned with Malaysia's National Anti-Corruption Strategy, the pact ensures vendors follow
01:24
strict anti-corruption measures and uphold ethical standards in their dealings with ProLintas.
01:31
The company also holds the internationally recognized ISO 37001-2016 certification
01:37
for its anti-bribery management system, allowing it to implement measures to prevent,
01:41
detect, and respond to bribery. With 15 anti-bribery policies in place and formalized
01:48
initiatives like the anti-bribery and corruption as well as the no-gift policy, the company
01:52
continues to raise the bar. Additionally, ProLintas' policy on whistleblowing takes
01:57
transparency a step further, allowing internal and external stakeholders to report breaches
02:02
directly to the Board Audit Committee, ensuring issues are dealt with swiftly and fairly.
02:09
With upcoming initiatives including updates to their Code of Business Ethics and Conduct
02:13
and Supplier Code of Conduct in early 2025, ProLintas is committed to outpacing the competition
02:19
in integrity and governance.
