00:03 They did the deal for Justin Fields for a sixth round pick that can become a fourth
00:09 rounder if he takes 51% of the snaps.
00:12 And they've already admitted that he's the backup.
00:15 He's not competing for the starting job.
00:17 But how do you like when they went from pick it with his 13 TDs and 13 picks.
00:22 And Trubisky and Rudolph, who essentially got him into the playoffs with
00:27 a three game heater at the end of the season to this quarterback room with
00:32 a nine time Pro Bowler who's been to two Super Bowls and Justin Fields with his skills.
00:38 >> Massive upgrade and I know a lot of people are down on Russell Wilson and
00:41 I said it before Scott, you need to separate how much money he was making.
00:45 And separate how much Denver gave up for him and
00:50 actually look at his quarterback play, got 26 touchdowns and 8 interceptions last year.
00:56 Now that was a little bit deceptive, it's not just that.
00:59 He missed a lot of balls, his arm strength isn't the same.
01:03 But Russell Wilson is still better than a lot of quarterbacks in
01:06 the National Football League.
01:08 I think he's a perfect fit for Pittsburgh.
01:10 And I love the roll of the dice on Justin Fields.
01:13 You and I talked about this, we've been talking about this for weeks.
01:16 How Fields would be a good fit in Pittsburgh and especially now.
01:20 He's got Russell Wilson to learn behind right now.
01:24 Fields is a great athlete and I mean, look at as well Scott from a business
01:28 perspective, you're basically paying Russell Wilson the veteran minimum,
01:33 which is what, $1.2 million?
01:36 And the Broncos are paying the rest and
01:38 you just got Justin Fields for a six round draft pick.
01:41 So you got a Super Bowl champion and a Hall of Famer and
01:45 a first round draft pick for a million dollars and a six rounder, bro.
01:49 >> Right.
01:50 >> I mean, and then you bring in Patrick Queen as well.
01:54 And the Steelers have been more active out there.
01:56 You're hearing them shopping around for wide receivers.
01:58 I'd be pretty excited if I was a Steeler fan actually.
02:01 It seems to me that instead of just showing up again, Scott,
02:05 you're the Steelers season, take it over.
02:06 Seems like the Steelers just show up with the same team and
02:10 expect different results.
02:11 Well, we're gonna run the ball, we're gonna do it like, no, you're the same team.
02:15 You don't have any more talent, you're not any more talented.
02:17 Now you're actually saying, you know what,
02:19 we have more talent on the football team right now.
02:22 I think it's been a nice off season for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
02:26 And as far as Bear fan out there that thinks you got fleeced now for
02:30 Justin Fields, the fact of the matter is, guys, look at Kenny Pickett was
02:35 a first round quarterback, I'm surprised he didn't get the fourth rounder for him.
02:39 Matt Jones, bro, Matt Jones was the first round quarterback draft.
02:45 Not just that long ago, he went for a sixth rounder.
02:48 That's the market out there.
02:50 So the Bears did what they're gonna do.
02:52 And I like what the Bears are doing as well, Scott.
02:54 They bring in Keenan Allen, they bring in DeAndre Swift, you've got DJ Moore.
02:58 Now it's up to Caleb Williams, but I'm excited about a lot of these moves.
