00:00 "Life is always about how you navigate situations and all new things are always happening."
00:05 Lindsay Lohan is saying she manifested her dream life and baby into reality while
00:10 chatting about her latest film, Irish Wish. Lohan's next Netflix outing follows a woman
00:15 hopelessly in love with a man set to marry her best friend, and makes a wish for true
00:19 love only to wake up as the bride-to-be. But things don't turn out exactly as she'd hoped.
00:24 While chatting with THR, the star, alongside co-star Ayesha Curry,
00:28 discussed the biggest things they've wished for in their own life.
00:31 "I feel like I'm not a wisher, I'm like a manifester. So like, I like to put things
00:37 out into the air, see what comes back, but I never harp too hard on anything."
00:43 "Is there anything that you guys manifested recently that came to life?"
00:46 "Yes, I was manifesting that I wanted to have a baby. When we were filming this."
00:52 Speaking of babies, the two stars also spoke about their special bond.
00:57 Curry and her husband, NBA star Steph Curry, are the godparents to Lohan's son
01:01 with husband Bader Shamus.
01:03 "How special is that and this bond right here between both of you?"
01:06 "It's so special to kind of have been there from, you know, the thought of it happening,
01:13 to it happening, and then now getting to watch her just be the most phenomenal mother,
01:19 I think has been such a joy and so cool to see. She's a great mom."
01:24 "Thank you."
01:26 "So are you."
01:26 "I have good guidance too. It's just, it's been the coolest thing."
01:33 "Did you guys swap any parenting advice for each other?"
01:35 "Always."
01:35 Elsewhere, Ed Spalier's fresh off his villain role on Netflix's You also spoke about his
01:42 tight bond with Lohan and going from playing a serial killer to a romantic lead.
01:47 "The thing about Lindsay is that, A, she's brilliant with the physical comedy,
01:51 she's got a great sense of timing, but I think what allowed that chemistry to develop was
01:58 we very quickly had a good understanding of one another, had a great respect for one another,
02:02 and I think that rapport allowed us to sort of go on that journey, go down the river and try and
02:05 bring these two characters to life. It was a nice removal from me creatively because I was coming
02:10 off the back of two very intense parts as well."
02:14 Speaking of Lohan's physical comedy skills, with an acting comeback in full force,
02:18 the star shared whether or not there could be a music comeback in her future,
02:22 after noting that her sister, Ali Lohan, has a song featured in this film.
02:26 "I don't know about music for me right now because I'm just really getting into the films that I'm
02:31 doing, so I want to focus on that and continue to executive produce, but you never know. But yeah,
02:36 my sister did the closing song. She also did For Falling For Christmas, so I want it to be like
02:40 this theme where she continues. She has such a beautiful voice and I just love her music."
02:45 "Maybe a duet between both of you."
02:47 "Yes, she has asked me about that."
02:49 And finally, something else fans have been manifesting is a Freaky Friday sequel.
02:53 Lohan spills the latest on the possible new film.
02:56 "Yes, there is. It's happening. It's in the process."
02:59 "The scripts?"
03:01 "Yeah."
03:01 "Okay, okay, we'll take that little tease."
03:05 But as of now, she says the focus is Irish Wish. The romantic comedy hits Netflix on March 15th.
03:10 "This might sound strange, but I'm not sure this is supposed to be my life."
