ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೌರತ್ವ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ (Citizenship Amendment Act) ಜಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ (central government) ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಸೂಚನೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೂ (Lok Sabha election) ಮುನ್ನವೇ ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಸಿಎಎ (CAA) ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಗೃಹಸಚಿವ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ (Amit Shah) ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು.

The Citizenship Amendment Act has been enacted in the country. The central government has issued an official notification in this regard. Union Home Minister Amit Shah had promised to implement CAA across the country even before the Lok Sabha elections.
