Storms dump heavy rainfall on south-east Queensland as Tropical Cyclone Lincoln forms in gulf of Carpentaria
Wild weather has lashed Queensland with communities in the gulf bracing as the third cyclone of the season makes landfall just across the border in the Northern Territory. Meanwhile, in the states south-east torrential rain has triggered widespread flash flooding. The unexpected rain event catching many by surprise after weather alerts failed to be send.
