The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of a cyclonic formation developing in the Bay of Bengal that could intensify into a cyclonic storm. It is called Cyclone Mocha. If formed, it can lead to heavy rainfall in the next few days in the region along with a few other southern states. Fishermen have been advised not to venture in the seas due to rain and high-speed winds. IMD has warned that the low-pressure area formed over the Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify on Wednesday, May 10. Landfall could be on the Bangladesh-Myanmar coast on May 14.
