NCRPO chief approves dismissal of 10 cops from SPD due to several administrative cases

00:11 For carrying the stash of cash away from the scene of the raid,

00:25 NCRPO Chief Police Major General Jose Melencio Nartates Jr. has approved

00:31 the order to dismiss from police service the 10 cops from the Southern Police District

00:37 due to several administrative cases, including grave misconduct and conduct unbecoming of a

00:43 police officer. This is in connection with the raid conducted by SPD Special Operations Unit

00:49 in a condominium in Paranaque City September last year, and allegedly arrested four Chinese nationals

00:56 illegally. Other violations perpetrated by the said cops are robbery for taking with intent to gain

01:03 27 million pesos, which is not included as the subject of the search warrant. In a footage,

01:10 the cops can be seen carrying large boxes allegedly containing the cash. They headed to a parking

01:16 basement and loaded the boxes in a vehicle. These are just some of the evidence seen by the NCRPO

01:23 leadership. "Robbery, because we have CCTVs. When you bring or bring the evidence, pieces of evidence,

01:32 physical evidence, outside the premises that you have raided, without the benefit of

01:43 documenting it, you call it robbery. Yes, deliberately."

01:49 Other irregularities observed are the planting of firearms as evidence, perjury, and obstruction
